People who are current users of tobacco products (like cigarettes, gutkha, chewing tobacco) and wish to quit their tobacco habit can consume Nicosure. Such consumption should be in accordance with the precautions and dosage schedule provided in the leaflet inside the pack or in consultation with your doctor.

How do I use Nicosure Gums? How many pieces can I use in a day?
Chew Nicosure normally and park it between your gums & cheek from time to time. Repeat the process for best results.

Remember, taking breaks between chewing is essential. If the gum releases more nicotine than your mouth is able to absorb, you will not achieve the desired result.
We recommend using not more than 24 pieces of Nicosure gums in a day.

How do I use Nicosure Lozenges? How many pieces can I use in a day?
For best results, place one lozenge in your mouth and roll it every now and then until it dissolves completely. Do not chew, bite or swallow the lozenge whole.

Remember, taking breaks between sucking the lozenge is essential. If more nicotine is released than your mouth is able to absorb, you will not achieve the desired results.

How long should I use Nicosure? Is there a recommended dosage schedule?
The recommended dosage schedule for Nicosure 2 mg gums & lozenges is given below:
Weeks 1-6: 1 pc every 1 to 2 hours
Weeks 7-9: 1 pc every 2 to 4 hours
Weeks 10-12: 1 pc every 4 to 8 hours

Is it necessary to strictly follow the dosage schedule?
While we suggest that you follow the recommended dosage schedule, you can modulate the consumption of Nicosure 2 mg gums & lozenges based on your convenience. This is because adjusting to less nicotine may take more than 12 weeks depending on individual nicotine dependancy. However, do not exceed the maximum number of pieces recommended per day.

Will I still have tobacco urges when using Nicosure?
Depending on your tobacco habits, your body may have been adjusted to a high dosage of nicotine. Since Nicosure offers a lower dose of the same to help reduce your dependency on tobacco, you may experience tobacco urges during the initial days of using Nicosure. As you continue using Nicosure, the urges should gradually reduce and eventually stop.

Why can't I eat or drink for 15 minutes before using Nicosure?
Eating or drinking even mildly acidic foods and beverages directly before using or while using Nicosure inhibits nicotine absorption into your bloodstream. A basic alkaline pH is required for the nicotine in Nicosure to be properly absorbed through the lining of your mouth. We recommend waiting 15 minutes after eating or drinking before using Nicosure.

What is the minimum duration between consuming 2 pieces of Nicosure?
Ideally, you should keep a minimum time gap of 1 hour after using the last gum or lozenge.

Do I need a Doctor's prescription to use Nicosure?
All products on our website are available in a 2 mg strength and can be purchased without a prescription. However, if you prefer a higher strength, 4 mg gum is available at e-pharmacies with a doctor’s prescription.

Can I get addicted to Nicosure?
Nicosure contains lower levels of nicotine as compared to tobacco products and hence chances of addiction are negligible if you use the product as per the recommended dosage, by tapering usage over the weeks. Nicosure is not a substitute for tobacco. It is designed to provide a temporary source of nicotine, to make adjusting to life without tobacco more bearable.

Does Nicosure have any side effects?
Like most medicines, some people may experience side effects associated with therapeutic nicotine, while others may not experience any at all. Common side effects like headache, nausea, hiccups, throat irritation, sleep disturbance, etc., are usually transient & manageable. Read the leaflet provided inside the pack for a complete list of possible side effects and precautions for use. Consult your doctor if side effects persist.

I do not get the same satisfaction as I used to get from tobacco, why?
The goal of Nicosure is to reduce your nicotine dependence. Nicosure delivers small amounts of nicotine to your body, lower than that of tobacco, and therefore you may not get the same satisfaction. The purpose is to allow your body to gradually adjust to having less nicotine.

I used tobacco while using Nicosure. Does it mean I can't quit?
Kicking the tobacco habit is hard and requires resilience. It is okay if you slipped up and used tobacco. You can still continue your quit attempt and keep using Nicosure as directed.
