  • How does Nicosure work?

    Nicosure works on the principle of Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT). It delivers a low and controlled dose of nicotine to your body, which temporarily replaces the nicotine from tobacco. This helps you manage withdrawal symptoms and control the urge for tobacco. The dosage is gradually reduced over time, allowing your body to adjust to lesser amounts of nicotine and eventually reducing nicotine dependence.
  • Why should I use Nicosure? Why not quit cold turkey?

    If you are thinking of abruptly stopping tobacco use, Nicosure advises that you should take plenty of time to come to that decision. People often underestimate how difficult it is to resist tobacco urges using willpower alone. This is because when you quit cold turkey, your body may experience various withdrawal symptoms that can reduce willpower and make quitting seem difficult. Nicosure delivers low and controlled doses of nicotine to your body, which reduces the intensity of these withdrawal symptoms, thereby easing the transition.

Using Nicosure

  • Who can consume Nicosure?

    People who are current users of tobacco products (like cigarettes, gutkha, chewing tobacco) and wish to quit their tobacco habit can consume Nicosure. Such consumption should be in accordance with the precautions and dosage schedule provided in the leaflet inside the pack or in consultation with your doctor.
  • How do I use Nicosure Gums? How many pieces can I use in a day?

    Chew Nicosure normally and park it between your gums & cheek from time to time. Repeat the process for best results.

    Remember, taking breaks between chewing is essential. If the gum releases more nicotine than your mouth is able to absorb, you will not achieve the desired result.
    We recommend using not more than 24 pieces of Nicosure gums in a day.
  • How do I use Nicosure Lozenges? How many pieces can I use in a day?

    For best results, place one lozenge in your mouth and roll it every now and then until it dissolves completely. Do not chew, bite or swallow the lozenge whole.

    Remember, taking breaks between sucking the lozenge is essential. If more nicotine is released than your mouth is able to absorb, you will not achieve the desired results.
    We recommend using not more than 20 pieces of Nicosure lozenges in a day.
  • How long should I use Nicosure? Is there a recommended dosage schedule?

    The recommended dosage schedule for Nicosure 2 mg gums & lozenges is given below:
    Weeks 1-6: 1 pc every 1 to 2 hours
    Weeks 7-9: 1 pc every 2 to 4 hours
    Weeks 10-12: 1 pc every 4 to 8 hours
  • Is it necessary to strictly follow the dosage schedule?

    While we suggest that you follow the recommended dosage schedule, you can modulate the consumption of Nicosure 2 mg gums & lozenges based on your convenience. This is because adjusting to less nicotine may take more than 12 weeks depending on individual nicotine dependancy. However, do not exceed the maximum number of pieces recommended per day.
  • Will I still have tobacco urges when using Nicosure?

    Depending on your tobacco habits, your body may have been adjusted to a high dosage of nicotine. Since Nicosure offers a lower dose of the same to help reduce your dependency on tobacco, you may experience tobacco urges during the initial days of using Nicosure. As you continue using Nicosure, the urges should gradually reduce and eventually stop.
  • Why can't I eat or drink for 15 minutes before using Nicosure?

    Eating or drinking even mildly acidic foods and beverages directly before using or while using Nicosure inhibits nicotine absorption into your bloodstream. A basic alkaline pH is required for the nicotine in Nicosure to be properly absorbed through the lining of your mouth. We recommend waiting 15 minutes after eating or drinking before using Nicosure.
  • What is the minimum duration between consuming 2 pieces of Nicosure?

    Ideally, you should keep a minimum time gap of 1 hour after using the last gum or lozenge.
  • Do I need a Doctor's prescription to use Nicosure?

    All products on our website are available in a 2 mg strength and can be purchased without a prescription. However, if you prefer a higher strength, 4 mg gum is available at e-pharmacies with a doctor’s prescription.
  • Can I get addicted to Nicosure?

    Nicosure contains lower levels of nicotine as compared to tobacco products and hence chances of addiction are negligible if you use the product as per the recommended dosage, by tapering usage over the weeks. Nicosure is not a substitute for tobacco. It is designed to provide a temporary source of nicotine, to make adjusting to life without tobacco more bearable.
  • Does Nicosure have any side effects?

    Like most medicines, some people may experience side effects associated with therapeutic nicotine, while others may not experience any at all. Common side effects like headache, nausea, hiccups, throat irritation, sleep disturbance, etc., are usually transient & manageable. Read the leaflet provided inside the pack for a complete list of possible side effects and precautions for use. Consult your doctor if side effects persist.
  • I do not get the same satisfaction as I used to get from tobacco, why?

    The goal of Nicosure is to reduce your nicotine dependence. Nicosure delivers small amounts of nicotine to your body, lower than that of tobacco, and therefore you may not get the same satisfaction. The purpose is to allow your body to gradually adjust to having less nicotine.
  • I used tobacco while using Nicosure. Does it mean I can't quit?

    Kicking the tobacco habit is hard and requires resilience. It is okay if you slipped up and used tobacco. You can still continue your quit attempt and keep using Nicosure as directed.

  • Can I drink alcohol if I'm using Nicosure?

    It is advisable to avoid alcohol, coffee, tea and any other beverage or drink that you may associate with using tobacco.
  • Can I use Nicosure if I have a medical condition or if I'm taking medications?

    If you have any medical condition or are undergoing any medication, it is suggetsed that you consult your doctor before starting to consume Nicosure.
  • Can I use Nicosure if I'm pregnant or nursing?

    If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, only use Nicosure on the advice of your doctor.
  • Can I use Nicosure if I am a minor?

    Nicosure is not for sale to minors / individuals below 18 years of age.
  • Can Nicosure Gums stick to dentures or dental work?

    Nicosure Gums may stick to dental caps or partial bridges. Consult your dentist or consider using Nicosure lozenges

  • How can I track my tobacco urges on WhatsApp?

    Once you have made a purchase, we will send you a message with the option to set your goal i.e. the number of tobacco urges you wish to resist every day. For example, if you use tobacco 5 times a day, you can set the number to 5 so we know that you aim to resist 5 tobacco urges each day. Post this, you will receive a message with the options: ‘I RESISTED’ and ‘CHANGE GOAL’. So every time you resist a tobacco urge, you can click on the ‘I RESISTED’ button, and in case you want to change your goal, you can click on the ‘CHANGE GOAL’ button.

  • How can I track my progress on WhatsApp?

    Once you have set a goal and are diligent with registering the tobacco urges you resisted each day, you will receive a message every week that details your progress. Additionally, you will also be given an option to ‘Track Your Progress’. You can click this button anytime to check your weekly or monthly progress.

  • How can I track my order on WhatsApp?

    Once you have made a purchase, you will receive a message with the options to view your order, track your order or speak to customer care. Simply click on ‘TRACK ORDER’ to view the details.

SUBSCRIPTION PLANS

  • How do I know which subscription plan is good for me?

    You receive 8 Gums with one pack of Nicosure Gum and 8 lozenges with one pack of Nicosure Lozenges. So depending on the number of tobacco urges you aim to resist in a day, you can pick between our subscriptions - Pack of 3 (24 pieces), Pack of 6 (48 pieces), Pack of 9 (72 pieces) or Pack of 12 (96). If you require more or less, you can also customize your subscription plan based on your requirement.

  • How do I pay for my monthly subscription?

    Once you select a subscription plan, we will send a payment reminder every month, a few days before your shipment is due, along with a payment link. You can use convenient channels like Razorpay (Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, NetBanking & Wallets) to complete the payment.

  • I have a subscription, but I still have too much product. Can I skip a shipment?

    Yes, you can! In the 'Manage Subscriptions' section, we give you an option to either skip a shipment or reschedule your delivery by 7 or 14 days.

  • Can I modify/cancel my subscription plan?

    Of course! If you want to change your subscription plan, just visit your Account section and modify your subscription plan. Cancellation is also easy with the click of a button.

  • How do I know that my order has been confirmed?

    Once you place an order and your payment goes through successfully, you will be redirected to an order confirmation page. We will also send out an email as well as a message on Whatsapp with order confirmation details. You can view all orders in the your Account section.
  • How do I track my order?

    You can track your order on WhatsApp, simply select your conversation with Nicosure and click on the button that says 'Track Your Orders'. Besides this, having an account on the website makes it easy to keep track of all your orders. Once you have logged in, you will see each individual order that you've placed with us. Select the one that you want to inquire about and you will find all the tracking information there. We'll also send you updates via email and WhatsApp on your order status.
  • Can I cancel or modify an order once it has been placed?

    We act fast to get your products to you as soon as possible, so once you’ve placed your order and it has been confirmed, we cannot cancel or make any changes to it. However, in case you receive something damaged, or if your order has a missing or wrong item, please get in touch with us and we will do our best to rectify the issue.

    Nicosure gums and lozenges have an expiry date of 2 years from the date of manufacture.
